To ensure the safety of our children and families here are the updated guidelines for our Ima & Me get togethers, following best practices from CDC, DCF and Department of Health.
General:
- Only Ima & Me mommies, daddies and babies are allowed into the building during class time.
- All participating families must sign up in advance. There will be no drop ins allowed.
- Only MJP Staff are allowed entry during the session
- Staff members will be screened upon arrival
Group size limit:
- Each family is welcome to 1 adult per family, per child
- The group is limited to 6 families
- Each family will have a designated spot and mat 6 feet apart.
- Children will be given the freedom to interact freely with their peers.
Mask wearing
- All adults must wear masks or shields at all times
- Children under the age of 2 are NOT permitted to wear masks.
- Children over the age of 3 may wear a mask if parent desires. (Not a required)
Screening
- Upon entry, your temperature and your child’s temperature will be taken
- you will fill a quick questionnaire in regards to the basic wellbeing of your family.
- You will not be allowed in if the temperature is higher than 100
- You will wash or sanitize your hands immediately upon entry.
- You may not bring any extra toys or paraphernalia from home other than what is needed for the hour such as: personal diapers, wipes, baby bottle etc. (Please leave strollers in the lobby area)
Hygiene & Sanitizing
- No food will be served
- Please bring your own labeled water bottle for you and your child
- Our location and all equipment will be sanitized before opening.
- The mats are sanitized between uses.
- Everything will be sanitized again at the end of each class.
- Each family will receive their own mini "music box" with musical instruments to use during class.
- On Fridays Shabbat party Children will be given the opportunity to bake Challah.
These precautions are in place to provide every effort to keep every child and family safe; however, this does not provide a guarantee of any kind. As the participant, you assume all risks associated with attending. That being said we are doing everything we can to keep you safe, working together during this time is important.
